Terms and Conditions.

At Marou Home we strive to create an intimate community atmosphere during your event/ treatments and as a result, we can only accommodate a limited number of participants. It is the responsibility of the client to read, understand and agree to our cancellation policy before booking with us.

Cancellations

– All bookings incur full payment upon booking . This is to secure the space and the space cannot be reserved without payment.

– If you wish to cancel a booking and the request is received with more than 42 days (6 weeks) notice before your arrival date, you will be offered the opportunity to reschedule to an available date or a full refund.

– Cancellations received within 42 days (6 weeks) before your arrival date, will only receive a partial refund unless the space is rebooked (where you will receive refund the portion that is hired)

Insurance

If you are travelling from overseas, we ask that you have travel insurance. Marou Home does not take any responsibility for changes in travel plans, change of mind, or transport changes.

Liability for your Participants is your responsibility.  Please make sure when securing space hire you forward your certificate of currency to hello@marouhome.com

Marou Home owners and organisers take no responsibility or liability for, and the participant waives any right to hold this space  1/25-29 Mckeon street liable for:

– Any changes or delays in air schedules, missed airlines or others carrier connections or other services;

– Any changes with the travel restrictions from any others Australian states other than NSW;

– Injury, loss, or damage to persons or property, including personal belongings;

– Additional expenses resulting from changes in exchange rates, tariffs or schedule;

– Additional expenses incurred or due to sudden sickness, weather conditions, strikes or other causes or acts of Nature;

– Losses due to cancellations.

– Travel insurance is recommended. 

Cleaning

⁃ Cleaning is the responsibility of the hirer.  Cleaning checklists will be provided.

⁃ By agreeing to these terms and conditions hirer takes responsibility to ensure cleaning is done to standard and accepts the penalties if check list isn’t completed.

Photography and videography

During your hiring, professional shoot (photography, videography, aerial image or footage) needs permission. For formal photo shoots at Marou Home you must inquire. We are fine for you to take candid photos of your experiences, share them on social media and tag @marou.home clearly in the description and location.

You cannot use such content to promote your personal brand, on your website and/or commercially unless agreement has been made.

Video and Photography Consent

By attending this event site you agree to being filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
